OUR HISTORY

With the development of our proprietary Direct Optical Wiring (DOW) technology, Lessengers established a new paradigm for precise, scalable optical integration—laying the foundation for a growing portfolio of optical engines, transceivers, and active optical solutions that power next-generation computing and data infrastructure.

Chongcook Kim

Chief Executive Officer and Founder

Prior to founding LESSENGERS, he led the R&D teams at Samsung Electro-Mechanics and LG Innotek for the optical devices and in-vehicle optical communications, where he realized that the optical interconnect technology needed disruptive innovation and a paradigm shift. He holds a PhD from POSTECH.

Taeyong Kim

Chief Marketing Officer

Taeyong joined as Chief Marketing Officer in 2022 after leading his teams on a successful engagement and ramp-up of high-speed data center optics at Optomind Inc., where he ran Marketing, Quality Management and IP Management. He holds a PhD from Ajou University and a Bachelor of Laws from KNOU.

Kwanghoon Oh

Director of Research & Development

Prior to joining in 2022, he led a variety of high-speed optical transceiver developments over the last 10 years. Most recently, he supported customers with 56 Gbps CDR technology at Renesas Corp. He holds a BS from Honam University.
